ABB is seeking a field-based Service Technician to perform on-site and remote analysis, plan service assignments, and ensure high-quality customer service. You will collaborate with customers, field colleagues, and the service coordination team while traveling within the Midlands/Bern region on a regular basis.

Applicants should have at least three years in automation or electrical engineering and be fluent in German with basic English.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in automation or electrical fields.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in automation, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of electromechanical systems and diagnostic tools.

Aufgaben

• Plan and execute service assignments per customer requirements.
• Identify optimization opportunities during on-site visits.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts and tools.
• Provide training to field service colleagues and customers.
