A leading university in Austria is seeking a University Assistant Prae-Doc to focus on research in THz electronics. At the Institute of Electrodynamics, Microwave and Circuit Engineering in the Research Unit of Microwave and THz Electronics TU Wien is offering a position as university Assistant Prae-Doc (all genders) limited to 4 years for 30 hours/week. Expected start: immediately. The focus of the THz‑Electronics group is the investigation of THz sources, detectors and systems, with a special emphasis on resonant‑tunnelling diodes (RTDs) and THz sources based on them. Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade B1 of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 2,786.10/month gross, 14 times/year for 30 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
