Silhouette Group in Linz is seeking an Eyewear Designer to join our international design team. You will explore trends, Create concepts, and shape designs from idea to final eyewear product across three brands.

You will collaborate with Color Design, R&D, prototyping and production, transforming creative ideas into high-quality eyewear. Flexible hybrid work options in Linz or Vienna are available.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or related field.
• Strong portfolio showing original thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to develop ideas from concept to 2D/3D design and final product.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and 3D design tools such as Rhino, SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of form, proportion, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Curiosity for new materials, technologies and production methods.
• Independent, hands-on and solution-oriented work approach.
• Collaborative mindset with design, engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Eyewear or product/industrial design experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Explore trends and turn insights into design directions.
• Create concepts, moodboards, sketches and 2D/3D designs from idea to product.
• Collaborate with Color Design, R&D, prototyping and construction to realize concepts.
• Tell the story behind designs to inspire marketing, sales and opticians.
• Contribute to future collections across three brands.
