Purpose of the Role
We are currently looking for a dedicated, self-motivated candidate with passion, who wants to join our EUA team in the AGRANA Fruit Division in the following position:
EUA Business Controller & Finance Analyst (m/f/d)
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to AGRANA Fruit's financial performance by combining business partnering, controlling, and analytical expertise. You will provide clear financial insights, enhance transparency, and support data-driven decision making across the European region. Working closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and other stakeholders, you will help improve profitability, manage risks and opportunities, and strengthen planning and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance and business functions on regional and cross-functional topics throughout Europe.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, opportunities, and variances against budget, forecast, and prior year results.
- Support decision-making through financial modelling, business cases, and scenario analysis.
- Deliver clear and actionable reporting, dashboards, and management insights that enhance financial transparency.
- Monitor profitability, margins, and cost development across multiple European entities.
- Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to evaluate business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, latest estimate, and monthly performance review activities.
- Contribute to profitability improvement initiatives, investment evaluations, and network optimization projects.
- Assist in working capital management and support various balance sheet related activities.
- Drive continuous improvements in controlling processes, reporting standards, and analytical tools while ensuring compliance with internal policies and governance requirements.
Requirements
- Education/Degree in Economics/Finance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Procurement Analytics, Sourcing, or Business Partnering roles
- Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in understanding the business
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Project management experience is a plus
- Excellent skills in Excel, SAP s/4HANA, AFO
- Excellent level of English is a must; other languages are beneficial
