Zusammenfassung

Bybit is expanding its EU payments leadership. The Senior Payments Product Manager will own the end-to-end lifecycle of payment products, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance across accounts, transfers, cards and digital wallets.

Fluent English and German are required to interact with Austrian authorities; the role reports to the Head of Payments EU and You will collaborate with legal, AML, and operations teams in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of payments experience in banks, e-money institutions, or PSPs.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of payment protocols and clearing systems.
• Familiarity with PSD2/PSD3, E-Money Act, AMLD, GDPR, and DORA.

• Direct report to Head of Payments EU / Managing Director of Bybit Payments GmbH.
• Lead the lifecycle of payment products including accounts, transfers, cards, digital payments, wallets, fiat currencies and stablecoins.
• Establish and oversee clearing and settlement systems (SWIFT, EBA Clearing, TIPS) and maintain payment standards (SEPA / ISO 20022).
• Design internal treasury and cash management systems to optimize liquidity and fund safety.
• Interface between technical teams, legal & compliance, AML, payments operations, sales, and external financial partners.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Payments Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of our expansion in the EU. You will play a pivotal role in building and managing our payment products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency and regulatory compliance.

• Strategic Reporting:Direct report to Head of Payments EU / Managing Director of Bybit Payments GmbH.
• Product Ownership:Lead the lifecycle of payment products including accounts, international transfers, cards, digital payments, digital wallets, FIAT currencies and stablecoins (e-money tokens).
• Infrastructure Management:Establish and oversee clearing and settlement systems (SWIFT, EBA Clearing, TIPS) and maintain payment standards (SEPA / ISO 20022).
• Treasury Operations:Design internal treasury and cash management systems to optimize liquidity and fund safety.
• Stakeholder Management:Act as interface between technical teams, legal & compliance, AML, payments operations, sales, and external financial partners.

Requirements

• Education & Experience:Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of5+ years of experiencein payments within a bank, e-money institution, or payment service provider (PSP).
• Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of payment protocols (SWIFT, SEPA), clearing systems, and product architecture (wallets, currency exchange, e-money tokens).
• Regulatory & Compliance:Deep understanding of the European regulatory landscape, includingPSD2/PSD3, E-Money Act, AMLD, GDPR, and DORA. Familiarity with safeguarding client funds is essential.
• Languages:Professional fluency in bothEnglish and Germanis mandatory (due to regular interaction with Austrian regulatory authorities).
• Mindset:Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 operational environment. You are a self-starter who can work independently while maintaining high standards of precision.
