Rayner Surgical Group in Switzerland is seeking two SW Engineers to join our team in Heerbrugg, St Gallen. You will focus on maintenance and development of our Sophi phacoemulsification system software.

You will program in C++ for embedded bare-metal systems, design microcontroller hardware interfaces, and ensure compliance with EN 62304. Fluency in German and English is required, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable medical devices.

Qualifikationen

• Degree from a university of applied sciences or university in electronics, electrical engineering or computer science.
• Strong bare-metal experience in embedded systems.
• 3+ years of development experience (C++, Linux, etc.).
• Proficient in German (C1) and English (B2+).

Aufgaben

• Embedded software development in C++ for embedded bare-metal systems.
• Design and implementation of software for hard real-time environments.
• Development of microcontroller systems, including bus systems (wired/wireless), sensors, and actuators.
• Full lifecycle development from concept to production.
• Specification, documentation, and validation of medical devices per EN 62304.
• Maintenance and development of internal development tools using Python.
• Collaborate with mechanical development to optimize functionality and packaging.
