TGW Logistics in Austria seeks a firmware engineer focused on hardware-related software in the Conveyor Technology team. You’ll maintain and enhance a central component across the product life cycle, analyzing requirements, implementing robust firmware changes and ensuring quality via testing and debugging.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical training in computer science, software engineering, mechatronics, automation or comparable.
• Sound knowledge of C for embedded or firmware development.
• Experience with microcontrollers and interfaces CAN, SPI, I2C or UART.
• Version control and reproducible builds; knowledge of Git and CMake preferred.
• German and English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Responsibility for technical product maintenance and targeted further development of the component over the product life cycle.
• Analysis, evaluation and implementation of error corrections, change requests and new product functions with close coordination with product owner, hardware, test and system development.
• Development of hardware-related embedded software in C including drivers, peripheral connection and time-critical functions.
• Structured troubleshooting at software, hardware and system level with debugger, logs and measuring equipment.
• Creation, execution and evaluation of unit, integration and system tests; expansion of test automation for recurring inspections.
• Maintain traceable firmware architecture, documentation and clean build/status records.
