Zusammenfassung

TGW is seeking a network specialist to join our development team in Austria. You will design and configure control networks for fieldbus systems and IIoT, ensuring that hardware and software work together and that the automation network remains stable.

You will develop network technology for our TGW product portfolio, define standards from software to peripherals, document processes, and contribute to knowledge sharing in an agile team with flexible hours and occasional remote work.

Qualifikationen

• FH/Uni/HTL degree with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics, IT or similar.
• Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, especially in industrial networks.
• Sound knowledge of PROFINET and Ethernet-based bus systems as well as IIoT protocols essential.
• Sound IT knowledge (CCNA Cisco certification) is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of German and English.
• Analytical skills and reliable, structured way of working.

Aufgaben

• Plan, design and configure control networks for fieldbus systems and IIoT in the automation sector.
• Develop and maintain the network technology for our TGW product portfolio and contribute new ideas.
• Define network parameters and standards - from software to peripherals (access points, switches, gateways, etc.).
• Define the standard network topology and ensure that our systems are well connected to each other.
• Support the product development department in networking topics.
• Document products and processes so that knowledge remains transparent and standards are secured.
