Zusammenfassung

Hug Engineering AG seeks a mid-experience Electrical Engineer to design and document electrical systems and control cabinets. You will work extensively with EPLAN Electric P8 and EPLAN eBuild to develop new portfolio solutions and project-specific configurations while ensuring compliance with international standards and customer requirements.

You will collaborate with mechanical, software/PLC, and production teams to optimize products and deliver modular architectures for our machinery

Qualifikationen

• 5 years proven experience in electrical design for control cabinets and industrial machinery.
• Hands-on experience with CAE tools, particularly EPLAN Electric P8.
• Structured, modular and standardized design approaches.
• Familiar with Machinery Directive and related standards.

Aufgaben

• Select components, perform cabinet layout, heat dissipation, and cable routing optimization.
• Generate manufacturing-ready docs for control cabinet assembly and wiring.
• Develop standardized electrical designs and modular architectures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
