Amazon Development Center Austria is hiring a Software Dev Engineer (DevOps) for Prime Air. You will own backend systems, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure at scale, shaping the delivery of drone operations.

You will build pipelines, operate AWS services, and contribute to DevOps practices while collaborating with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to deliver reliable, scalable software solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with graduation between Oct 2025 and Sep 2026, or recently graduated.
• Proficiency in at least one language such as Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS services, data structures, algorithms, and DB concepts.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end production backend systems including databases and data pipelines for Prime Air scale.
• Design and maintain build, test, and deployment pipelines enabling rapid, safe software delivery.
• Architect and operate scalable data infrastructure on AWS (Aurora, Lambda, S3, SQS, EventBridge).
• Drive infrastructure-as-code with CDK and CloudFormation across environments.
• Demonstrate operational excellence with monitoring, alerting, and on-call duties.
• Develop cloud-native microservices in a large distributed system and ensure reliability.
• Promote DevOps culture, observability, and continuous improvement across the team.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to design and implement impactful products.
