We are looking for forward-thinking, impact-driven developers who want to shape the future of IoT, AI, and cloud-based solutions in an agile environment. At smaXtec, we develop a unique health management system for dairy cows, using smart algorithms and AI applications to revolutionize herd health and sustainability.

Your Role

• You will work with a modern cloud infrastructure using Kafka / Strimzi, Kubernetes (GKE, Gateway API, Cilium), GitOps / FluxCD, Helm, and Docker.
• Running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you'll help ensure a stable, secure, and high-performing environment through monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization with Datadog.
• You’ll also manage container and deployment systems and automate CI/CD pipelines to streamline and enhance our development workflows.

Your Profile

• Completed technical education (e.g., HTL, Telematics, Computer Science, or a related field).
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to take initiative and implement solutions independently.
• Excellent technical knowledge combined with analytical thinking and strong organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and work with new technologies.
• Interested in working with some of the technologies in our stack.
