Who we are

Lindsay Fresh Logistics is a part of Lindsay Australia’s Group of Companies, a leading transporter of fresh and refrigerated produce. We’re proud to support farmers end‑to‑end — from planting and packaging through to connecting them with retailers and families via our national road, rail, and logistics network.

Why join Lindsay’s Fresh Logistics Depot

Step into a key leadership role in Australia’s fresh produce supply chain. Lindsay Fresh keeps the country moving with transhipping, ripening, storage, cross‑docking, fumigation, and import/export services for growers, wholesalers, and market agents. As Depot Manager, reporting to the Regional Manager Brisbane, you’ll lead a team of 100+ at our fast‑paced Rocklea Markets site — where no two days are the same and your decisions directly influence safety, service, and customer outcomes. You’ll be supported by a senior leadership team while having the autonomy to make real improvements. This is a full‑time, Monday to Friday role starting at 5 AM — perfect for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a busy, operational environment.

In this role, you will:
  • Champion “Safe Always” – lead by example, uphold a zero‑harm mindset, and ensure every employee, customer, and visitor goes home safely.
  • Grow your produce expertise – deepen your knowledge across local, import and export markets, commodity handling, and end‑to‑end perishables management.
  • Lead complexity with confidence – oversee local fleets, multi‑temperature cross‑dock operations, and multiple commodity streams while collaborating across Lindsay to maximise linehaul and national network efficiency.
  • Inspire and elevate your team – lead a diverse workforce, drive performance, set clear goals, coach leaders, and take ownership of P&L outcomes.
  • Build trusted customer partnerships – be the face of Lindsay Fresh, delivering on commitments and strengthening long‑term relationships with growers, wholesalers, and market agents.
  • Own operational results – manage site safety, labour planning, budgets, administration, and maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient, and commercially strong depot.
What we’re looking for:
  • Established senior leadership experience, ideally within transport, produce, or the import/export industry.
  • Experience working within import/export environments, preferably in the produce sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and produce accurate business reporting.
  • A motivated, genuine, and positive leadership style with a strong lead‑by‑example approach.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Well‑developed reasoning, problem‑solving, and planning skills.
  • Professional presentation, with a friendly and practical approach to working with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
What we offer:
  • Career development opportunities in a growing organisation.
  • A family‑oriented company culture that values safety, support, and inclusivity.
  • Recognition and rewards for key service milestones.
  • Employee referral and retention bonus programmes.
  • Salary packaging options, including novated leases.
  • Discounts with partners such as Qantas, Ringers Western, Bridgestone Tyres, and more.
