Unknown is seeking a hands-on Day Shift Supervisor to lead a 20‑person production team in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. You will drive safety, quality and operational performance while partnering with the Production Manager to meet daily targets and continuous improvement goals.

You should bring experience leading teams in manufacturing, strong Lean, SMED and ERP familiarity (SAP or Dynamics 365), and a proven ability to coach, prioritise and problem‑solve in a fast‑paced setting.

Are you an experienced production leader looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a hands‑on Day Shift Supervisor to join a well‑established manufacturing business, leading a production team and driving safety, quality and operational performance.

Working closely with the Production Manager, you'll oversee daily operations, ensure production targets are met, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity across the manufacturing floor.

The Role

As the Day Shift Supervisor, you'll lead a team of approximately 20 production employees, providing day‑to‑day guidance, coaching and support while maintaining a safe and productive workplace. You'll be responsible for monitoring production performance, coordinating workflows, resolving operational issues and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Previous experience leading teams within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of high‑volume manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, SMED (quick changeovers) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Sound mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting production issues.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to make decisions, prioritise tasks and lead by example in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience within packaging, plastics, food manufacturing or other automated production environments will be highly regarded.
