Job summary

Red Bull Data Service GmbH in Austria seeks a Data Scientist to drive impact across Sales, Marketing and HR by delivering data products and statistical analyses. You will manage data science projects from scoping to delivery, scale initiatives with IT, and collaborate with external consultants while building data stories for stakeholders.

A minimum of 2+ years in data science, Python and SQL, and familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and modern data tooling is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; Snowflake is a plus.
• FMCG knowledge is advantageous in a data or analytics role.
• Data literacy to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
• Statistical reasoning to apply regression and visualization techniques.
• Technical literacy with modern computing tools beyond core data science.
• Experience with version control (Git), data transformation tools (dbt), and lightweight app frameworks (Streamlit/Shiny) is a plus.
• Strong presentation skills to tell data stories to varied audiences.
• Stakeholder management and collaboration across functions.
• Pragmatic critical thinking, value-driven decision making, and perseverance.
• Scientific reasoning with ability to scope questions and derive insights.
• Grit to see projects through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects as part of existing data science service lines.
• Scale initiatives with IT colleagues to reach more stakeholders and markets Red Bull operates in.
• Drive innovation by proposing new data-driven ideas and methods.
• Manage external consultants to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and present outcomes.
• Support the Data Science Manager with planning, onboarding, and communications.
