OMICRON electronics GmbH seeks an experienced Data Model Lead to own and evolve a central data model used across our portfolio. You will drive vision, collect stakeholder needs, and document specifications for developers and QA.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience creating and maintaining complex data models, ideally processing electrical measurement data.
• Very good communication and moderation skills.
• Comfort driving change in a solution-oriented, cooperative manner.
• Strong ability to find best solutions for complex challenges and multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with UML notation and related tools (Enterprise Architect).

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain a central data model used by multiple products in our portfolio.
• Document strategy and vision of the data model and act as the internal contact point.
• Collect and consolidate needs from customers and stakeholders to drive development aligned with the vision.
• Support Product Owners in creating data-related requirement specifications.
• Document data-related specifications for software developers and QA as the primary audience.
• Communicate changes and progress transparently to stakeholders.

Your role

• You are responsible for the development and maintenance of a central data model used by various products of our portfolio
• You create and document the strategy and vision of this data model while acting as central point of contact within the company
• You collect and consolidate needs and requests of customers and stakeholders to drive development aligned to the vision
• You support our Product Owners in the creation of data-related requirement specification
• You document data-related requirement specification for software developers and quality assurance as the primary target audience
• You communicate changes and development progress transparently towards the stakeholders
