RHI Magnesita N.V. is seeking a Data Engineer to join the international Data & AI team in Vienna. You will build scalable data pipelines on a Databricks-based lakehouse, integrating Sales, Distribution and SCM data, notably from SAP, to support demand and supply planning.

You will work hands-on with Databricks, Python, SQL, Spark, Azure and SAP, leveraging AI-assisted coding practices in an agile, global environment. The role offers hybrid work and a competitive package based on experience.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Data Engineering and building production-grade data pipelines.
• Strong practical skills in Python, SQL, Spark and Databricks.
• Experience with SAP data and cloud data platforms; Azure is an advantage.
• Understanding of Sales, Distribution, Supply Chain or demand/supply planning is a plus.
• Interest in modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted coding and development.

Your position

At RHI Magnesita, Databricks is at the heart of our corporate data platform. We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to join our international Data & AI team in Vienna and build the data foundation for our Sales, Distribution and Supply Chain planning processes.

Working with our Databricks-based lakehouse, you will build scalable data pipelines and deliver trusted data for demand and supply planning. You will work with technologies such as Databricks, Python, SQL, Spark, Azure and SAP while supporting key planning systems including o9 Solutions. Together with a young, diverse and international team, you will leverage AI-assisted development practices using tools such as Codex and Databricks Genie Code and contribute to impactful global initiatives.
