Your position

As a post-merger integration manager, you will facilitate the integration of companies from signing transaction documents to a final review by senior management 1-2 years after closing. You will lead communication and change management activities, including Day-1 communications, integration workshops, welcome events, and regular updates to employees and leadership. Furthermore, you will identify opportunities to simplify and automate integration activities by leveraging digital solutions, AI, and data-driven reporting. This role requires international travel for approximately 30% of your working time to acquired companies, helping you build relationships, support integration activities, and ensure the successful adoption of processes, systems, and culture.

  • Planning and executing post-merger integration projects from signing through stabilization, ensuring a smooth transition for newly acquired businesses
  • Driving cross-functional integration workstreams in close collaboration with stakeholders across all business functions to deliver integration milestones and business objectives
  • Monitoring and supporting the realization of integration synergies in partnership with representatives from the business, ensuring alignment with the investment case
  • Preparing high-quality decision materials, status reports, and presentations for the Executive Management Team and other senior leadership forums.
  • Developing and continuously improving integration governance, methodologies, playbooks, and best practices to strengthen the organization's integration capabilities.
Your profile
  • Proven experience in project management, transformation, post-merger integration, strategy execution, consulting, or a comparable cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear recommendations and actionable plans
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate across functions
  • A proactive, hands‑on mindset with a strong sense of ownership, capable of driving multiple workstreams and ensuring timely execution in a dynamic setting

The annual gross salary for this full‑time position starts at €75,000.00, with a competitive package based on qualifications, experience, and market values.
