Google Kronstorf in Austria seeks a Data Center Water Treatment Technician to operate, monitor, and support critical mechanical systems powering our facilities, including water pumps, chillers, HVAC, and advanced control systems.

You will inspect, maintain, and repair piping and mechanical components, read blueprints, assist senior technicians, and respond to alarms to ensure 24/7 reliability and cost-efficient operation.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of experience as a Chemical Engineer in Water Treatment Plant (WTP) or related technical field
• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and use PPE
• Ability to work non-standard hours and shifts

Aufgaben

• Operate, monitor, and support mechanical systems critical to data center performance including water pumps, chillers, HVAC and control systems
• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center piping and mechanical components; perform planned PM and reactive maintenance
• Read blueprints/schematics and assist senior technicians; conduct system tours and assessments
• Respond to BMS alarms and HVAC-related client problems to minimize recovery time and costs
