Zusammenfassung

Google is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Engineer in Austria to drive the technical design and delivery of high‑complexity data center projects. You will support Campus Plan through Detailed Design, assist with Moves/Adds/Retrofits within MARCUS projects, and liaise with Data Center Operations on warranty issues.

You will work with a team to optimize power usage, improve environmental performance and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across data centers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience managing construction projects within an international working environment.
• Experience in facility mechanical systems.
• Experience working with data center equipment/environments including switchgear, generators, controls, security monitoring systems, and fire safety systems.

Aufgaben

• Drive project mechanical outcomes of high complexity and scope with feedback from multiple stakeholders.
• Lead mechanical scoping, direction, and allocation of technical resources within the project.
• Provide technical leadership to the projects, support and optimize project design, scope, schedule, quality, commissioning, and safety for mechanical discipline.
• Troubleshoot advanced mechanical system events and contribute to cross-project procedures for alignment with multiple teams.
• Support interactions with authorities and third‑party inspection processes.
