Google Inc. is seeking an Associate Facilities Manager for Data Center Operations in Austria. You will lead a 24x7 team responsible for electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, ensuring uptime, safety and efficiency across facilities.

You will drive cost-saving initiatives, mentor staff, and plan budgets while aligning with Google-wide strategy and internal partners. This role requires strong leadership and a track record of delivering operational excellence.

Qualifikationen

• 4 years of experience in data center operations or related operational field.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and training team members.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team to maintain and operate sophisticated electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems in a 24x7 critical facilities environment.
• Develop creative approaches to reduce operational costs and improve data center efficiency.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards are met and manage outages to minimize recovery time.
• Plan and manage operational budgets and forecast expenses with focus on cost efficiency.
• Drive hiring, talent development and succession planning for Googlers.
