Job summary

Swarovski is seeking a Technical Designer (f/m/d) to work on crystal figurines, decorative and functional objects, in an international environment. You will design with a strong focus on feasibility, cost targets, and innovative details, collaborating with Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Product Marketing and Prototyping teams.

We value 3 years of Industrial Design experience and proficiency in Blender, 3D Coat, Rhino and KeyShot, plus strong visual and anatomical sense.

Qualifications

• 3 years of work experience in Industrial Design.
• Ideal to have a degree in Applied Arts, Product Design or Industrial Design.
• Skills in physical and digital sculpting with Blender and 3D Coat are required.
• Experience with CAD software e.g. Rhinoceros is highly appreciated and used in design.
• Experience with KeyShot for renderings is a plus.
• Strong eye for 3D visualization, proportions and anatomy.
• Excellent command of English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver designs on time with technical sheets aligned to creative vision.
• Design according to cost targets and ensure feasibility while staying innovative.
• Stay updated on crystal applications and integrate new techniques into designs.
• Lead design phase of complete product families with input from cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Product Marketing, and Prototyping teams.
• Gather consumer insights and sharpen business acumen for Home Decoration.
