Zusammenfassung

ZTE Corporation in Vienna is seeking an experienced core network engineer to perform implementation, changes, consultation and on-site/on-call support of EPC/5GC core network products. You will diagnose complex customer-impacting issues, upgrade software, and provide optimized solutions to improve customer experience.

You will analyze network indicators, guide customers and partners, and collaborate with global teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in core network operations with EPC/5GC network elements.
• Strong understanding of core network architecture, signaling procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose complex faults and provide rapid, customer-focused resolutions under pressure.
• Familiar with software upgrades, system maintenance and network optimization.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; German is a plus.

Jobbeschreibung

• Perform implementation, changes,consultation and on-site/on-call support of ZTE core network products:EPC/5GC(at least one of products).
• Independently perform diagnostic investigation of complex customer-impacting ZTE core network issues to locate the root cause and slove them rapidly to eliminate the impact on customers.
• Perform software upgrade of ZTE core network Products.
• Analyze core network design, reliability, performance, solved issues , provide optimized solution to improve the customer experience.
• Track, analyze, and optimize network indicators to ensure network security and stability.
• Provide technical guidance, consultation , support, training and problem resolution to customers/partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in core network operations and maintenance, with solid expertise in EPC 5GC network elements and products.
• Strong understanding of core network architecture and principles, including subscriber data management, session control, and signaling procedures, with proven capability in system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Ability to independently handle complex network faults and provide rapid response and resolution in high-pressure customer environments.
• Familiar with software upgrades, system maintenance, and network optimization processes, with strong awareness of risk assessment and change management practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, capable of effective technical coordination and collaboration with customers and partners.
• Strong learning ability, sense of responsibility, and adaptability to onsite support, shift duty, and business travel when required.
• Proficient in technical English reading and communication; German language skill is considered an advantage.
