Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a Coordinator Plant & Equipment to ensure the provision of compliant vehicles, plant, tools, and equipment for Keolis Downer Adelaide. This role is critical in supporting safe and efficient operations through effective asset management and contractor oversight. This role will commence in early 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and govern all activities for heavy plant, road-rail vehicles (RRVs), light plant, tools, and equipment.
• Manage contractors performing maintenance activities and ensure compliance with KDA Safety Management System.
• Oversee routine, corrective, and reactive maintenance through Maximo.
• Conduct assurance activities, audits, and safety observations.
• Manage calibration processes, installation, servicing, and commissioning.
• Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation, and reporting on fleet usage and financials.
• Administer fuel card management and monthly audits.
• Support insurance claims and daily vehicle inspection audits.
• Develop business cases for acquisition of new plant and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a Zero Harm culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of safety standards, codes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in vehicle and fleet management, including FBT and leasing.
• Familiarity with Maximo in a maintenance environment.
• Strong understanding of costing procedures and finance applications.
• Proven ability to manage diverse vehicles, plant, tools, and equipment.
• Excellent contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Intermediate MS Office skills and strong planning capabilities.
