We have an excellent opportunity for a collaborative and analytical finance professional to join our Softwood Plantations Division as Commercial Finance Analyst.
In this valued role, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and regional teams across Bathurst, Grafton and Walcha to provide thoughtful financial insights, analysis and guidance. Your work will help shape informed decisions that support the sustainable performance of Forestry Corporation's softwood operations.
This position suits someone who enjoys building relationships, making sense of data, and contributing to continuous improvement in how financial information supports the business.
As Commercial Finance Analyst, you’ll partner with the Commercial Finance Manager and divisional leaders to provide clear and practical financial advice that supports business planning and decision‑making. You’ll take a hands‑on role in month‑end analysis, budgeting and forecasting, helping translate complex financial data into meaningful insights.
A key part of your work will be supporting the Division with accurate and timely reporting, while finding opportunities to improve the clarity and usefulness of management information. You’ll collaborate closely with Corporate Finance to ensure consistent reporting standards, identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, and help strengthen financial understanding across the business. Building strong, trusted relationships with colleagues will be central to your success, as you work together to deliver high‑quality financial outcomes for Forestry Corporation’s Softwood Division.
