VAT Vakuumventile AG is seeking an experienced Measurement Engineer to develop and optimize offline measurement programs based on CAD models. You will perform tactile and 3D measurements, ensuring accuracy and supporting CMM operators.

The role involves collaboration with production teams, deviations handling, and contributing to new product introductions. Strong background in coordinate measuring technology, Mitutoyo equipment, and SPC analytics is required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with coordinate measuring technology and CMM programming.
• Strong reading of technical drawings and tolerance interpretation.
• Exposure to Mitutoyo measuring equipment is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Create and optimize offline measurement programs based on CAD models using Mitutoyo systems.
• Perform tactile and scanning 3D measurements and verify measurements by CMM operators.
• Support deviation, corrective action, and improvement processes in production and with suppliers.
• Advise internal departments on measurement-related matters and promote knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to new product introductions and prepare production inspection plans.
• Apply SPC methods to monitor and improve production processes.
• Analyse process data using Q-DAS and related software.
