This position is a 80% contract per week (34.8h) -to be filled for a duration of 5 months, starting from 27th of November 2026.
Rôle :
As a Chalet Cook Host, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional daily service to guests and ensuring that our luxury properties are maintained to the highest standards. This is a hands‑on and varied role that includes preparing breakfast, daily housekeeping, setting and serving meals, lighting fires, and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Hosting
Deliver warm, professional, and discreet service from guest arrival to departure
Anticipate guest needs and go above and beyond to exceed expectations
Set up, serve, and clear meals and drinks with precision and elegance
Provide assistance with guest requests and in‑resort logistics where needed
Breakfast Preparation
Prepare and serve breakfast daily, following Bramble Skistandards and menus
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and service area
Manage breakfast timing in coordination with the guests and chef.
Housekeeping & Chalet Presentation
Perform daily housekeeping to the highest standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
Manage linen changes, turndown service, and in‑chalet laundry
Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the chalet at all times.
Ambiance & Chalet Maintenance
Light and maintain fires, adjust lighting, and create a cosy and luxurious atmosphere
Proactively ensure the chalet is always beautifully presented and guest‑ready
Monitor and report any maintenance or technical issues promptly.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the chalet chef, manager, and driver to deliver a seamless guest experience
Communicate effectively with your team to coordinate tasks and resolve issues
Show initiative and flexibility, supporting team members across roles when needed.
Stock & Hygiene Management
Manage in‑chalet supplies, restock amenities, and organise storage areas
Adhere to all health, hygiene, and safety protocols in food handling and cleaning
Assist with deliveries and stock inventory where required.
Working Hours and Specific Requirements:
Bramble Ski operates under the CCNT (Swiss hospitality collective agreement). Due to operational requirements, work on Saturdays and Sundays is expected, particularly during high season.
Schedules are organized on a rotating basis and shared at least one week in advance in coordination with the resort team, in line with CCNT working time and rest period regulations.
Overtime is managed in accordance with CCNT rules and compensated either through time off in lieu or payment, as applicable.
All scheduling and compensation practices must remain fully compliant with CCNT requirements, and adjustments will be made where necessary to ensure compliance.
Ideal Candidate:Required skills & experience:Minimum 2 years' experience in the luxury hospitality sector (chalets, hotels, yachts, events, etc.)Strong housekeeping skills with a high attention to detailSome cooking experience is a plus (professional kitchen, cookery course, or group catering)Fluent in spoken English; French or German is a bonusPositive, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a teamReliable, discreet, and service-orientedWell-presented and comfortable in a guest-facing rolePassionate about hospitality and mountain lifeAll our positions are open, on an equal skills basis, to employees with specific needs or accommodations related to a disability.
Phone Allowance- up to 40 CHF per month
Organised Insurance- deduction on your net pay (new insurance prices for 2027 will be official in October 2026 and will depend on age and resort)
Organised Accommodation- 1100 CHF deduction from your net pay
