Pictet Asset Management is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer for our Equities department. You will design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications across frontend, backend, and data layers.

You will lead AI-enabled content tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive UIs, and deploy solutions end-to-end (ideally on AWS). 7+ years of experience and fluent English are expected; relocation to Switzerland may be required.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong full-stack skills: React, TypeScript/JavaScript frontend; Python and REST/GraphQL backend; SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience deploying and operating end-to-end solutions, ideally on AWS; testing, observability and versioning.

We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Software Engineer for our Equities department. Our goal is to build innovative tools that transform complex sustainability data into actionable insights for responsible financial decisions. As an early, high-impact member of the team, you will take ownership of architecting and building these intuitive, end-to-end systems.

Your role

• Designing, building and maintaining end-to-end web applications, including front-end, back-end, and database layers.
• Implementing agentic AI capabilities into content tools and drive adoption of AI workflows and best practices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design intuitive high-quality UIs that make complex data easy to understand and navigate.

Your profile

• Proven experience in building a great product or 7+ years of professional experience.
• Early adopter of agentic engineering practices, with a strong grasp of the current AI ecosystem (frameworks, tooling, and workflows).
• Strong full-stack fundamentals: React, TypeScript/JavaScript on the frontend; Python and REST/GraphQL APIs on the backend; SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating solutions end-to-end (ideally in AWS), including data ingestion, transformation, and serving, with solid practices around testing, versioning, and observability.
• Entrepreneurial drive and a sharp analytical mindset, with the ability to quickly ramp up on new domains, tools, and techniques through self-learning.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
