The Role

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to represent Spanlift, focusing on our rural customers across South Australia. This role will drive our promise of Sound Advice and Smart Design while assisting our project team to deliver a Smooth Journey.

The role involves regular travel to meet customers face to face, designing and securing new shed projects while offering expert advice. You will be supported by our in‑house sales and operations team, allowing you to focus on building relationships and delivering tailored solutions.

What You’ll Do

Follow up on all leads and enquiries promptly.

Design tailored farm shed solutions to meet customer needs using our ‘smart design’ framework.

Ensure projects run smoothly from enquiry through to handover to our project team.

Work with our in‑house sales support to efficiently facilitate enquiries into proposals.

Represent Spanlift at rural events, field days, and within industry networks.

Build long‑term relationships with repeat clients and collect testimonials. Live and breathe our core values: “How can I help?”, “Jump right in”, “Think smart”, and “Sorted.”.

What We’re Looking For

Someone who is well connected within the SA rural sector.

A proven record of sales experience with a rural customer base, or familiarity with agricultural and farm operations.

Strong communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills.

An individual who is proactive, self‑driven, reliable, and hands‑on in their role.

Someone who is willing to go out and find customers.
