GROPYUS is seeking a Building Physics Engineer to shape the thermal performance of our timber-based, prefabricated construction systems in Austria. You will analyze and optimize thermal, moisture, and hygrothermal performance across design and production, ensuring compliance and providing technical guidance to multiple teams.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Physics, Civil Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Proven professional experience in the field of thermal building physics.
• Strong expertise in thermal insulation, moisture protection, and energy-efficient building design.
• Solid knowledge of relevant standards, guidelines, and building physics calculation and simulation methods.
• Proficiency with Hottgenroth, Psi-Therm, and WUFI.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with Planning, Design Engineering, and Production teams.
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.

About the role

As a Building Physics Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, assessment, and optimization of our building system from a building physics perspective. You will ensure that building physics requirements are considered at an early stage and implemented in a technically sound, cost-effective, and compliant manner.

Working closely with Design Engineering, Planning, Production, and other specialist departments, you will actively contribute to the further development of system solutions, standards, and technical details.

Responsibilities:

Austrian salary range, based on 14 months
