Zusammenfassung

VAT Group is seeking an AI & Cloud Application Architect to shape cloud-based business applications in the SCM department. You will drive cloud solutions, define architectural standards, and help establish a competence center while training the organization on advanced cloud and AI technologies.

You will lead cross-functional workshops, evaluate build vs. buy decisions, and mentor technical specialists to uphold best-in-class standards across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science, data science, math, engineering or physics.
• Extensive Azure cloud development experience; AWS/GCP and Databricks a plus.
• Advanced coding in Python and SQL; experience architecting cloud solutions.
• Expert knowledge in data engineering, data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Proven track record in AI/ML pipelines, preferably in forecasting or SCM.
• Full software development lifecycle mastery (CI/CD, prototyping, deployment).
• Senior cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management and communication.

Aufgaben

• Define and design architectural standards for scalable cloud solutions (data pipelines, APIs, analytics).
• Oversee SCM AI models and cloud applications performance, driving enhancements.
• Translate complex business needs into technical blueprints with cross-functional teams.
• Lead scouting of emerging AI/cloud technologies to shape long-term stack and vendor strategy.
• Provide technical authority on build vs. buy decisions and architecture best practices.
• Drive SCM digital roadmap implementation and ensure adherence to standards.
• Lead technical activities in the SCM AI hub and mentor technical specialists.
