Qualifikationen

• Technical apprenticeship in a relevant field is required.
• Additional training as technical merchant, purchaser or operations specialist is preferred.
• Several years of experience in operational procurement or scheduling in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong familiarity with ERP systems.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Understanding of lean philosophy and continuous improvement.

Aufgaben

• Operational procurement and scheduling of mechanical and electrical components with quality.
• Negotiate prices and manage production orders and scheduling.
• Ensure incorporation of design changes during series production.
• Advise and support internal departments on procurement issues.
• Monitor deadlines and track components and assemblies for procurement.
• Establish new suppliers and points of contact for technical inquiries.
• Identify solutions to procurement bottlenecks and issues.
• Optimize scheduling data, inventories, and availability; propose process improvements.
• Collaborate on various projects.
