Zusammenfassung

IDEXX is seeking a Clinical Pathologist in Austria to provide diagnostic evaluation in clinical pathology with a strong focus on timely reports and excellent client service. The role includes gross and microscopic examination, preparing pathology reports, and meeting caseload and turnaround targets.

You will engage in continuing education, participate in quality control programs, and maintain professional relationships with clients while collaborating with veterinary staff.

Qualifikationen

• Board certification in clinical pathology preferred.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Ability to type and use dictation equipment.
• Experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform gross and microscopic examination of clinical pathology specimens and prepare pathology reports promptly.
• Meet caseload and turnaround expectations.
• Provide telephone consultations to clients.
• Consult with and assist other pathologists as needed.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel on specimen processing; act as pathologist on duty.
• Promote IDEXX by participating in pathologist meetings and maintaining client relationships.
• Participate in quality control programs.
• Maintain proficiency through continuing education.
• Time may be allocated away from routine diagnostics for approved professional activities.
