ABB is seeking an Automation & Service Engineer in Austria (Wiener Neudorf) to deliver technical execution of projects and on-site field service. The role includes FAT, testing, commissioning, diagnostics, and collaboration with customers to improve operations.

The position requires around 5 years in automation, a related bachelor’s degree, German and English at C1, and a driver’s license. The role is on-site with 8 home office days per month, with travel ~50% and hybrid options.

Competenze

• 5 years of experience in automation and service engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in automation.

Mansioni

• Carry out technical execution of projects (FAT, testing, commissioning).
• Perform field service tasks including diagnostics and troubleshooting on-site or remotely.
• Identify operational improvements with customers on-site.
• Prepare material lists and coordinate parts/equipment for high-quality service.
