This is a non-traditional career path where you become CEO-owner with backing for origination, deal closing, transition, and ongoing operations.

You'll work closely with AIA across origination, due diligence, valuation, and governance, supported by a structured transition and ongoing operational governance to drive sustained growth.

Qualifikationen

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a general management role with full P&L accountability, plus 10-15 years of post-undergraduate professional experience.
• Operating background required: hands-on operators; not suited for those with mainly financial services, banking, PE, or consulting without direct P&L accountability.
• Industry expertise: proven track record in a sector aligned with AIA's investment thesis and priorities.
• Local anchorage: strong regional insight with fluency in local language and business culture, with a deep understanding of the local economy.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: resilience, resourcefulness, and ability to navigate significant business challenges to drive outcomes.
• Emotional readiness: prepared to take on a leadership role with a clear growth vision and purpose.
• Balanced ambition: humility coupled with a strong drive and willingness to collaborate with AIA to accelerate success.

Aufgaben

• Lead acquisition and management of a high-potential, family-owned SME in Austria facing a succession challenge.
• Partner with AIA's investment professionals on origination, due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring.
• Take on the CEO role with a structured transition plan and stakeholder relationship-building.
• Oversee operations with governance, reporting, and compliance support to execute a value-driven growth plan.
• Prepare and execute an exit strategy in partnership with AIA to maximize returns.
