This is an outstanding opportunity for Australian-qualified litigators currently based overseas to return home , while stepping into one of the most elite contentious practices in the market.

The Sydney team handles some of the most challenging, high-profile disputes in Australia and abroad, acting on complex commercial litigation, class actions, regulatory matters, and major investigations. Working directly with leading trial lawyers and international teams, you will gain exposure to strategy-led, intellectually demanding work for major corporates, financial institutions, and high-growth businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaising with experts, senior counsel and counterparties across multiple jurisdictions
• Contributing to business development, thought leadership and firm growth initiatives

Requirements

• Australia-qualified lawyer with 3–8 years’ post-qualification experience
• Strong background in commercial litigation, class actions, regulatory disputes or investigations
• Experience gained with a top-tier, international or specialist disputes firm
• Exceptional written advocacy, analytical ability and commercial judgment
• Confidence working on high-intensity, high-value disputes within lean, specialist teams
• A proactive, engaged and ambitious approach suited to a high-performance litigation environment
