Jefferson Wells Italia is seeking a legal professional to support the Global Director Legal & Compliance in all matters. The role covers drafting and negotiating contracts, handling court and arbitration proceedings and ensuring regulatory compliance in an international setting.

Ideal candidates have a completed legal education, 5+ years in an international environment, strong Austrian law knowledge, German and English fluency, and a structured, analytical approach.

Aufgaben

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating all types of contracts (purchase, lease, licence agreements, etc.)
• Handling court and arbitration proceedings as well as settlement negotiations
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in an international context (data protection, compliance, corporate governance)
• Managing the company’s intellectual property rights (trademarks and patents)
• Supporting activities of a publicly listed company (AGM, Supervisory Board meetings, public announcements)
• Working closely with external partners and supporting management and departments on legal matters at national level
• Managing legal files and contracts, including deadline monitoring

In this position, you will provide comprehensive support to the Global Director Legal & Compliance in all matters.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating all types of contracts (purchase, lease, licence agreements, etc.)
• Handling court and arbitration proceedings as well as settlement negotiations
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in an international context (e.g. data protection, compliance, corporate governance)
• Managing the company’s intellectual property rights (e.g. trademarks and patents)
• Supporting relevant activities of a publicly listed company (Annual General Meeting, Supervisory Board meetings, public announcements, etc.)
• Working closely with external partners and supporting management and specialist departments on legal matters at national level
• Managing legal files and contracts, including deadline monitoring

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed legal education
• At least 5 years of professional experience in an international environment
• Good knowledge of Austrian corporate and commercial law
• Experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel at a structured company is an advantage
• Fluent in German and English
• Team player with strong problem-solving skills and a structured, analytical approach to work
• Positive attitude and resilience
