We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Manly Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

Manly Hotel is the heart of the vibrant Manly Harbour Village. It is far more than just a pub; it's a prominent, high‑volume venue and the central social hub of the Bayside, boasting both a dedicated local following and strong tourism appeal. As an Assistant Manager, you'll be overseeing the integrated operation of Sails Bistro, a well‑known dining spot for families and guests, alongside four distinct Bars and Lounges, which include a lively Sports Bar driving high beverage volumes.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers License as per state requirements
