We're seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join our dedicated team at Grange Primary OSHC. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills while making a meaningful impact on children's lives.

About the Role

As an Assistant Director, you'll work alongside our Director and our two other Assistant Directors to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality care for children from Reception to Year 6. You'll lead and mentor our team of educators, and build strong relationships with families and the school community.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily operations and team leadership

Mentor and guide educators to deliver quality programs

Build positive relationships with families and maintain open communication

Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards and safety requirements

Oversee work health and safety, and manage all emergency requirements including regular evacuations and invacuations

Contribute to our continuous improvement and planning processes

What You'll Bring

Relevant qualifications in childcare, education or related field (Certificate IV minimum)

Leadership or supervisory experience in children's services

Current Working with Children clearance

Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC)

First Aid, Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Genuine passion for working with children and families
