Zusammenfassung

Erste Digital GmbH, part of Erste Group, is seeking a seasoned IT professional to support mission-critical trading applications within our Group Trading IT team at the Erste Campus in Vienna. You will ensure stable operations, drive automation, collaborate with traders and business stakeholders, and contribute to data and AI initiatives using modern platforms like Databricks.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of IT experience in Application Management, Production Support or Financial Services.
• Experience managing applications on Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of IT service processes and application lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD, automation).
• Familiarity with trading, capital markets, or banking applications is a plus.
• Interest or experience in Databricks, SQL, data engineering, cloud platforms, AI, ML, or Generative AI.
• Team-oriented and able to participate in weekly team meetings at Erste Campus.
• Willingness to work in trading hours with occasional weekend maintenance.

You check these boxes:

• 5+ years of experience in IT, ideally in Application Management, Production Support, or Financial Services


• Experience managing applications on Linux and Windows Server environments


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills


• Knowledge of application lifecycle management and IT service processes


• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow


• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring solutions


• Familiarity with trading, capital markets, securities, or banking applications is a plus


• Interest or experience in Databricks, SQL, data engineering, cloud platforms, AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI


• Team-oriented and willing to meet our team every week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Erste Campus


• Willingness to work based on functional staffing time during trading hours and to perform specific maintenance tasks on weekends (based upon alignment)


• Excellent English skills; German is an advantage

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 62.664,-- gross per year.
