Erste Digital, part of Erste Group in Austria, seeks an experienced IT professional to manage and support core trading applications across Linux and Windows, collaborating with traders and business users to ensure stable, automated operations and rapid incident resolution.

Join a team expanding data and AI capabilities with Databricks and cloud platforms, participate in weekly on-site discussions at Erste Campus, and contribute to continuous service improvement in a dynamic banking IT

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of IT experience in application management, production support, or financial services.
• Experience managing applications on Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and application lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices (Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with trading, capital markets, securities, or banking applications is a plus.
• Interest or experience in Databricks, SQL, data engineering, cloud platforms, AI/ML, or Generative AI.
• Team-oriented and willing to meet weekly on Erste Campus.
• Willingness for weekend maintenance as needed.
• Excellent English skills; German is an advantage.

• Manage and support business-critical trading applications throughout their lifecycle

You check these boxes:

• 5+ years of experience in IT, ideally in Application Management, Production Support, or Financial Services
• Experience managing applications on Linux and Windows Server environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of application lifecycle management and IT service processes
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring solutions
• Familiarity with trading, capital markets, securities, or banking applications is a plus
• Interest or experience in Databricks, SQL, data engineering, cloud platforms, AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI
• Team-oriented and willing to meet our team every week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Erste Campus
• Willingness to work based on functional staffing time during trading hours and to perform specific maintenance tasks on weekends (based upon alignment)
• Excellent English skills; German is an advantage

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 62.664,-- gross per year.
