Zusammenfassung

UNEP seeks a part-time National Project Coordinator in Tirana, Albania, to implement a GEF-funded biodiversity and climate resilience project. You will coordinate activities, manage partnerships, and ensure timely achievement of results, liaising with UNEP, the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, and other stakeholders.

Required advanced degree in environmental studies (or Bachelor's with experience) and fluency in English and Albanian.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in environmental studies or related field; PhD optional.
• Bachelor's degree with two extra years of relevant experience may substitute for an advanced degree.
• Fluency in English and Albanian (oral and written) is mandatory.

Aufgaben

• Provide overall technical coordination for project components, ensuring alignment with the Project Document and UNEP/GEF requirements.
• Coordinate partner activities, monitor work plans, budgets and reporting.
• Organize coordination meetings, conduct due diligence for partners, and supervise national consultants.
• Monitor progress against the results framework, manage risks, liaise with national and local institutions, and organize stakeholder consultations and events.
