Job summary

mercor is seeking an AI Safety Practitioner for contract work. You will evaluate AI-generated responses for safety, accuracy, and policy compliance, with a focus on RLHF, SFT, and benchmarking.

You will collaborate with researchers and safety teams to identify unsafe outputs and provide actionable feedback that improves model alignment and safety performance.

Qualifications

Compensation: $60–$70/hour

• Ability to consistently evaluate nuanced and policy-sensitive scenarios.

Preferred

• Experience with AI Safety , RLHF , SFT , Trust & Safety, or AI evaluation.
• Familiarity with safety policies, content moderation, or evaluation rubric development.
• Experience reviewing complex, high-risk, or ambiguous content.
