You will build and evolve hybrid solutions connecting Genetec’s on‑premises and SaaS products, primarily with .NET or Go, and contribute to data pipelines, search, analytics, and investigation workflows.

You will collaborate across product, UX, QA, security, AI, and other teams, shaping architecture, testing, and production operations while participating in on-call incident responses.

Qualifikationen

• Strong professional experience with Go or C#/.NET.
• Experience designing and building APIs and production software.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience writing maintainable, tested code and participating in code reviews.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD.
• Independent, pragmatic problem-solver with ability to work autonomously.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Interest in building products that solve complex customer problems.

Aufgaben

• Build and evolve hybrid solutions that connect Genetec’s on-premises and SaaS products.
• Develop backend services and APIs primarily with .NET or Go.
• Design data integrations and pipelines for multiple security data types.
• Build investigation workflows across Genetec products.
• Develop multi-domain search, analytics, and movement-analysis capabilities.
• Integrate AI capabilities such as natural-language search and anomaly detection.
• Productionize and maintain models delivered by research teams through the Genetec ML Platform.
• Design for hybrid constraints like data locality, bandwidth, and security.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Security, AI, and other teams to deliver value.
• Contribute to architecture, testing, CI/CD, observability, and production operations.
• Participate in paid on-call and incident response.
• Share knowledge and contribute to an innovative engineering culture.
