Virtual Identity AG is seeking an AI Data Governance Consultant to guide clients on data governance for AI initiatives, with a security-first approach and engineering grounding. You will shape data flows, assess risks, and support ongoing client engagements across multiple industries and regulatory environments.

The role emphasizes independent consultancy, hands-on data warehousing experience, and strong communication in English (and German where applicable).

Qualifikationen

• Experience consulting and leading engagements independently.
• Data engineering background with hands-on data warehousing experience.
• Deep understanding of data security practices as they apply to AI systems: access management, data classification, secure architecture, cloud data security, risk assessment.

Aufgaben

• Act as a trusted adviser on data security and governance for AI initiatives across client engagements.
• Assess and advise on data security risks tied to AI systems.
• Bring a data engineering perspective to governance work with real data warehousing experience.
• Guide clients through emerging AI-related risks in plain, actionable terms for leadership decisions.
• Participate in and help close new business; support pre-contract trust-building with clients.
• Build ongoing trust with clients and ensure deliverables are actionable and valued.
