Qualifikationen

• Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning with hands-on model development.
• Experience implementing neural network architectures from scratch.
• Understanding of attention mechanisms and state-space or long-context models.
• Knowledge of training dynamics, optimization, and efficiency considerations.

Aufgaben

• Research and develop novel neural network architectures beyond Transformers.
• Design experiments focusing on scaling, memory, training behavior, and compute-performance trade-offs.
• Prototype end-to-end training-ready models translating research concepts into production code.
• Analyze model behavior, inductive biases, and architectural strengths/limitations.
• Collaborate with inference and systems engineers to ensure efficiency and deployability.
• Read and reproduce cutting-edge ML papers and contribute to benchmarks.
• Contribute to internal notes, experiments, and open-source initiatives where applicable.
• Balance theory with rapid experimentation and production-oriented engineering.
