Job summary

UNIDO invites qualified students for a three- to six-month internship at the Vienna duty station. The Interns will be engaged in the Accelerate-to-Demonstrate (A2D) Facility team, gaining exposure to events, communications and project administration within UNIDO's climate and sustainable industrial development agenda.

Under supervision, interns will assist with event planning, cross-cutting tasks, and communications activities, and must prepare an end-of-internship report.

Qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, organization and delivery of events, workshops, side events, meetings, webinars and related activities.
• Assist with cross-cutting tasks including facility-level and project-level administration, research and analysis, and communications tasks.
• Contribute to communications activities such as social media, briefings, presentations, and dissemination-related tasks.
• Prepare an end-of-internship report as part of learning outcomes.
