FinXL IT is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading government client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain a robust governance and assurance framework for the project.

Develop and manage the risk register, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.

Rebaseline the project plan following the decision to migrate the data platform to the existing departmental cloud.

Conduct a comprehensive cost review and define the remaining costs to complete the migration.

Develop and implement a revised approach to testing the migrated platform and associated data pipelines.

Define the technical skills required to deliver the migration successfully.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, capable of delivering complex IT/Data projects.

Cloud Expertise: Experience with Azure-based systems and data management platforms.

Hands-on familiarity with the data environment:

Databricks (Lakehouses, Unity Catalog, SQL)

Strong skills in governance, assurance, risk management, and project re-baselining.

Ability to define and implement a revised testing approach for migrated data platforms.
