Prometeo Talent seeks a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) to join a U.S.-based client focused on marketing effectiveness measurement. The role handles large consumer datasets, translating raw data into actionable metrics, with strong SQL and Python skills and English summaries for stakeholders.
The position welcomes recent graduates to mid-level professionals and offers 100% remote work from LATAM, collaborating with international teams.
What do we offer?
Prometeo Talent is a recruitment agency with a strong presence across the Americas and Europe. We specialize in connecting companies with exceptional professionals across data, analytics, and business functions.
We have partnered with a U.S.-based company specialized in marketing effectiveness measurement. They help organizations better understand consumer behavior, purchasing trends, brand performance, and market dynamics through data-driven insights.
We are looking for a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) to join our client's global team.
This role is ideal for analytical and data-driven professionals who enjoy working with large-scale consumer and retail datasets, bridging the gap between complex database structures and business strategy, and turning raw transactional or behavioral data into clear, actionable metrics.
The ideal candidate combines solid SQL and Python skills, a strong "numbers sense", attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical results into clear summaries for stakeholders in English. The position is open to a range of experience levels, from recent graduates with a strong quantitative background to mid-level analysts looking to deepen their technical data manipulation skills.
Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
Develop, run, and validate machine learning, predictive, or statistical matching models to uncover deeper consumer behaviors and forecast trends.
Slice, unpivot, and aggregate raw transactional or panel data to calculate core business metrics such as household penetration, market share, and purchasing trends.
Build and maintain clean, structured data tables and views that feed into recurring tracking reports and stakeholder dashboards.
Review query outputs, perform data audits, and double-check logic to ensure accuracy and data integrity before insights are finalized.
Use conditional logic and filtering techniques to segment data and isolate specific tracking cohorts.
Clean, parse, and categorize unstructured or semi-structured text data.
Translate technical data structures and query results into clear written summaries, bullet points, or data tables for stakeholders in English-speaking environments.
0 to 4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, or similar roles. Entry-level candidates with strong relevant coursework, personal data projects, or internships are welcome, as well as mid-level professionals with a proven track record of querying databases to drive business insights.
Advanced English level (written and spoken).
Foundational to intermediate SQL skills, including complex JOIN logic, standard aggregations, and CASE WHEN conditional logic.
Python scripting for data cleaning, manipulation, and processing, with proficiency in pandas for complex multi-step transformations.
Familiarity with modeling libraries such as scikit-learn or statsmodels to build and evaluate predictive or statistical matching models.
Experience working with messy text fields: cleaning, parsing, filtering, and pattern matching within string variables.
Solid understanding of relational database design, including how tables connect, primary/foreign keys, and data normalization.
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, or a related field with coursework covering database management or quantitative data analysis.
Experience working with consumer, retail, panel, or transactional datasets.
Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Exposure to marketing analytics, consumer insights, or market measurement environments.
Experience building data tables or views that feed dashboards and recurring reports.
10 days of PTO to recharge wherever you choose.
Enjoy USA Holidays.
100% remote work—design the work-life balance that fits you best.
Work with real consumer and market data that influences strategic business decisions.
Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.
Develop your expertise in SQL, Python, and machine learning while working on impactful projects.
Our client is a remote product studio that builds MVPs and custom software for startups and companies past the idea stage. Clients hire them for a fixed-scope MVP or for a product team billed by the two-week sprint, and the whole team uses AI coding tools every day.
They've been at it since 2020 and were profitable in 2025, with a 30% net margin. After building their own AI systems, they tripled monthly revenue with the same team size. Clients rate them 4.9 out of 5 in verified reviews, and the startups they build for have raised more than $25M in venture funding.
You’ll join the team building workflow software for one of the studio’s clients: a live product that needs new workflow features while the existing ones keep running. The client’s own engineers commit to the same repo, so every new table, permission and workflow goes in next to code someone else is changing. The weight is on the server side, from the SQL database on Azure up through the API, and you also build the React and TypeScript screens that sit on top.
AI coding tools draft most of the specs, tests and migrations. You direct them, read every diff line by line, and answer for what merges. If you’d rather write most of the code by hand, this probably isn’t the right seat.
You report to the studio’s leadership and work day to day with the lead developer and the product manager, who sets the acceptance criteria for each sprint. Success means delivering four to five features per two-week sprint, each verified before merge, and owning one area end to end (such as the task engine or the legacy migration) without breaking a live feature.
Extend the production SQL database on Azure with new tables, permissions and versioned records
Write the server-side workflow rules: state machines, approval gates and independent review steps
Enforce role-based access by company and assignment at both the database and the API
Build the audit log, stale-write protection and idempotent endpoints so a retry never duplicates data
Build the React and TypeScript work queues, bulk assignment tools and dashboards
Integrate email, SMS and file storage providers, and design the sync APIs the mobile application calls
Write migrations from legacy sources, with reconciliation reports and a duplicate review step
Break each sprint’s scope into small PRs and verify every acceptance criterion before merge
4+ years building full-stack web applications and releasing them to production
Experience working in a codebase you didn’t write, learning its conventions before changing it
Hands‑on work on workflow software where different user roles see different data, with approvals, task queues or state machines and an audit log or versioned history
React, TypeScript and SQL on Azure, including schema design and migrations
Daily use of Cursor, Claude Code or a similar AI coding tool on production work, with tests and CI behind it
Clear written and spoken English: PRs that say what changed, why, and how it was tested, and tradeoffs explained to another team's engineers
Experience delivering in fixed‑scope sprints with branches, code review and feature flags
Work in a regulated setting such as finance, health or insurance
A migration from a legacy system, with reconciliation and duplicate review
Time as an outside vendor committing to a client’s repo
Project rules, custom prompts or agent setups for AI coding tools that your team adopted
Spanish, since the platform is bilingual
Fully remote contractor role from LATAM, full time at about 40 hours a week
Core hours in US time zones, so your day overlaps with the lead developer and the product manager
An area of the product to own end to end, with your schema designs reviewed by the lead developer and the client’s engineers
A team where AI-first delivery is already the daily routine, with tests, CI and feature flags as part of the normal process
A start in early November
