Obsidian Group is seeking a Medior-level Video Editor to join a fast-paced DaaS team in a Nordic-minded agency. You will transform briefs and raw assets into polished AI-driven video narratives, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery.

You’ll work with AI tools and traditional editing, balancing prompt-to-pixel execution with scalable output. A strong portfolio and 2+ years of agency or in-house experience are required, with English as the corporate language.

We are looking for a sharp, detail-obsessedVideo Editor to join our team.

This isn’t just about making things look good; it’s about making next-generation video work at scale. You will be a central engine in our Design as a Service (DaaS) setup, leveraging the latest AI tools and traditional editing techniques to deliver high-quality, high-volume video assets that fuel the marketing performance of our Northern European clients.

What you'll do

Your primary focus will be supporting our DaaS model, ensuring a smooth, continuous flow of AI-enhanced creative output. You will act as a direct extension of our clients' in-house teams, turning briefs, prompts, and raw assets into polished visual communication.

• Fuel the DaaS Engine: Execute a steady stream of diverse video tasks sequentially. You will handle everything from AI-generated performance marketing campaigns (social video ads, Reels, TikToks, AI avatars) to traditional motion branding assets.

• Direct & Agile Communication: Our workflow lives where our clients live. You will receive briefs, share drafts, and communicate daily via Slack, making quick and clear communication just as important as the generation and edit itself.

• Master the Feedback Loop: Our model promises unlimited revisions until the client is 100% satisfied. You need to be highly adaptable, implementing feedback quickly - whether that means re-prompting an AI tool or tweaking a timeline - efficiently, and without ego.

• Visual Problem Solving: Translate fast-paced briefs into functional, visually compelling AI-driven video narratives that capture attention in the first 3 seconds and drive conversions.

• Systematic Editing: Work across multiple client portfolios, strictly adhering to diverse brand guidelines. You understand that consistency in AI generation, pacing, grading, and motion is key in a service model.

• Continuous Evolution: Stay ahead of the curve by mastering bleeding-edge AI generation tools (e.g., Higgsfild, Claude, Heygen, Submagic, Elvenlabs), emerging AI workflows, and audio-visual styles to ensure our clients' content always feels native to the platform.

Experience you'll bring

We are looking for a Medior-level Video Editor who has a solid foundation in traditional post-production but is explicitly curious about where the industry is heading. You don’t need to be an AI engineer, but you do need to be someone who looks at new software and thinks, "How can I use this to work smarter?"

• The Portfolio: A strong body of work demonstrating not just creative editing, but commercial awareness and AI integration. We want to see videos that sell, inform, and engage, highlighting your ability to use AI tools to elevate the final product.

• The Toolkit: You’ve already started playing around with modern generative tools (whether that’s experimenting with AI audio, playing with tools like Higgsfild, Claude, Heygen, Submagic, Elvenlabs) combined with a mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects.

• The System Mindset: You understand the intersection of prompt engineering and performance-driven editing. You work fast, you rigorously organize your project files and generations, and you pay deep attention to the details.

• The Experience: 2+ years of experience, ideally within an agency or a fast-paced in-house team. Experience with volume-based content creation, or subscription-based models is a massive plus.

• Communication: Fluent in English (our corporate language) with the ability to articulate prompting strategies, pacing, and editing decisions clearly.
