Job summary

Goodwork is seeking a Remote Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to join a U.S.-based public accounting firm. This role supports U.S. clients and requires working hours aligned with U.S. Eastern Time. The position is fully remote with competitive compensation and growth potential.

You will prepare financial statements, handle tax returns, and collaborate with a U.S.-based team, while maintaining strict adherence to U.S. GAAP and tax concepts. Remote, international hours are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally supporting U.S.-based clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general tax preparation concepts.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Able to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
